Job Description

FirstBus are looking for an On Street CustomerService Advisor to join our team on a Full Time, Fixed Term Contract, with the potential to be made permanent!Reporting into the On Street Supervisor and working as part of the wider West Yorkshire On Street Team, your role will be to help and supportcustomers on the streets of Leeds City Centre, as they use ourbus services.Meeting and exceeding expectations by co-ordinating and liaisingwithcustomers, colleagues and stakeholders (depot, central service, delivery teams and Metro personnel), you will be the point of contact for all customer queries.Our core operational hours are 7am - 7pm, working a shift of 7.5 hours per day, however some flexibility is required as the work pattern can vary due to customer needs or events and will include some weekend work.   • Focusing at all times on delivering a service to ourcustomersthat meets and exceeds their expectations
  • Responding to and solving any customer queries and complaints that arise whilst on duty
  • Engaging withcustomers to ensure thatFirsts services are promoted in the most positive light
  • Supporting driving staff in resolving their queries, allowing them to meet ourservicedeliverycommitments for the benefit of customers
  • Liaisingwith the depot and central servicedelivery teams to ensure that any potential service failures are anticipated and resolved
  • Reporting on the quality and cleanliness of buses and addressing any immediate concerns
  • Co- ordinating services in the event of any emergencysituations
  • Co-operatingwith Metro staff in the operation of all FirstBus services

  • Experience in handling and resolving complaints
  • Proficient with basic I.T. and customer app
