Job Description

Job AdvertAre you looking to join a highly skilled motion design team creating social content for one of the biggest retailers in the UK Do you have experience of producing animated/video content for social media channels Can you bring your creativityand design skills to AsdaThis is a brilliant opportunity for a Motion Designer looking to join our Motion Design Team based at our head office in Leeds city center. You will be working as part of our in-house Motion Design Studio within the marketing function who are responsiblefor the creation of video and animated content for Asda social and digital channels. Working closely with the in-house studio producers and manager you will proactively come up with creative motion concepts and produce high quality social content.In this role you will:

  • Producing animated / video creative for Asda social channels (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, Pinterest)
  • Understand project requirements and concepts, challenging ideas where necessary
  • Editing / Grading video footage filmed by our inhouse videographer or external agencies
  • Creating animated product focused adverts
  • Response to briefs by pitching creative ideas and creative presentation support
  • Ensure all creative is delivered on time and meets briefing requirements
  • Ensure creative is compliant with guidelines and toolkits for events, brand and campaigns.
  • Work cross functionally with a wide number of stakeholders to ensure joined up plans and creative consistency to aid attribution
  • Respond to feedback from wider design teams to improve content
  • Keep up to date with the latest social platforms and design trends
  • Manage end to end communication of some work streams
About you:
  • Strong creative skills and attention to detail
  • Social and digital experience
  • Experience of design,Adobe suiteAfter Effects, Premier Pro & Illustrator/Photoshop
  • Design skills using 3D software (C4D/Blender) are desirable
  • Experience concepting / story boarding ideas
  • Experience in working with multiple stakeholders and external agencies / clients
  • Solutions based and pragmatic
  • A confident multi-tasker, used to a fast paced and dynamic work environment
  • Experienced in delivering projects to deadlines
  • A self-motivated individual that works well in a team
  • Excellent knowledge of different social platforms and keeps up with the latest social trends
  • Great timekeeping and project management skills
