They arenow looking to recruit an ambitious Management Accountant to join their team as soon as possible.They are ideally looking for a 1st time mover from practice, who is looking to find a varied position with a commercial edge within industry. This financial accounting role is unique in the fact that is heavily involved in producing information to aid strategicand commercial decision making. The roleThis newly created Management Accountant position would be a great opportunity for a first-time mover from an accountancy practice, especially if you have been working with clients within the financial services sector. The role will get involved in stakeholdermanagement across the business, whilst contributing to the preparation of monthly management accounts, delivering insightful analysis and reporting on performance.Your duties will include the following:--Working with stakeholders across the business and supporting with the month end close process-Balance sheet reconciliations and support with monthly balance sheet reporting and analysis-Support the Finance Manager with monthly reporting and detailed reviews-Provide insightful analysis alongside the monthly management accounts, assisting Commercial Finance in understanding the drivers behind reported results-Lead the change programme within financial accounting, working with project owners across the business to complete accurate impact assessments-Support with process improvement projects-Demonstrating continuous improvement around financial control framework-Ensure strategic and operational changes are correctly reflected in the accountsWho will this position suit-A highly driven and newly qualified accountant who is looking to move on from a recognised accountancy practice-A confident and articulate individual who is eager to improve their stakeholder management experience-Experience in financial reporting or management accounting roles-High attention to detail and problem-solving skillset-Experience in embedding new or improved finance processesBenefits-Flexible/hybrid working-Private medical healthcare-25 days holiday plus the option to buy more-Excellent training programme-Gym membershipFor further information please contact Lucy Regan or Emma Dugdale.
