Job Description

Want to work for a business that is fighting against the climate crisisAre you aJavaScript Developer who is motivated to combine the art of programming with the art of designDo you want to work fully remoteThis role has come at a critical time in the evolution of their software suite, as the product suite and team grow, so will the demand for a strong, responsive and asynchronous front end.You would be working alongside an agile technical team implementing visual elements and their behaviours with user interactions. Acting as a bridge between the visual and the server-sideinfrastructure.The ideal Product Owner candidate will have the following experience and skills:

  • JavaScript, knowing its quirks, and workarounds
  • ReactJS,Reduxorcomparative
  • Unit testing in React using tools such as Jest or React Testing Library
  • Good knowledge of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX
  • Solid understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around such issues
  • Good understanding of web markup, including HTML5 and CSS3
  • JavaScript module loaders, such as Require.jsandAMD
  • Webpack
  • Git or similarversioningtool
  • Good understanding of browser rendering behaviour and performance
  • Experience of developing in a CI/CD process
