Job Description

This is an excellent opportunity to join a leading law firm as an IT Support Analyst based in Leeds City Centre very close to the train station, with 2 days WFH. You will be providing a friendly and helpful IT support service working aspart of a small team.Hours: Full-time (7.5hr. shift pattern to cover hours between 08.00 and 18.30)Salary: £27,000The role:

  • Provide firm-wide 1st line support on all IT and communications issues
  • Log and track all day-to-day IT issues, or escalating as necessary to the 3rd line team or Service Desk Team Leader/Manager
  • Provide supplemental 2nd line/desk-side, telephone and occasional off-site support to all users, trouble-shooting problems and answering queries
  • Monitor and coordinate usage of shared IT resources such as laptops, video and audio conferencing systems etc, providing advice and assistance on their use as required Moves and Changes
  • Configure smartphone, tablet and laptop devices and windows devices(Desktops/Surfaces/Laptops) for issue to users
  • Perform changes and moves of PC and telephone equipment
  • Assist with new hardware and software installation across the network Maintenance
  • Assist with Windows and application software maintenance, including re-installation, configuration and upgrades
  • Manage repairs to Surface and smartphone devices, e.g. cracked screen replacements / battery replacements
  • Monitor and maintain printer hardware and systems, escalating any faults or service requests to the relevant managed service provider and overseeing through to resolution.
  • Monitor Active Directory and maintain records of new starters, including computer equipment set-up checklists
About you:
  • Exchange and Outlook email applications - versions 2016 and above (experience with Exchange Online and Office 365 apps are highly desirable).
  • Experience of remote support tools such as WebEx / VNC
  • Experience of supporting Microsoft Teams and/or Zoom.
  • Mimecast (or equivalent email archiving/security solutions)
  • Recent technical working knowledge of some or all of the following: understanding of TCP/IP and popular networking topologys, Windows 10, Windows Server 2008/2012/2016, Microsoft Office 2016, Sophos/SentinelOne or similar, Active Directory User and Computeradministration, Signify RSA, 3G/4G and WiFi, iPhone/iPad/Android, Citrix/Remote Desktop, telephone systems administration (Mitel or Avaya preferred), Microsoft Always-On-VPN.
  • MDM systems and mobile device deployment: IBM MaaS360, Microsoft InTune, Apple DEP, Wandera.
  • Strong client-service "can-do" approach, patient to understand the clients needs and willing to work with them in the most effective way to resolve queries, multitasking as necessary
