Job Description

Information Security ConsultantSpring Technology are working in partnership with one of the UKs most renowned Financial Services sector employers to recruit an experienced Information Security Consultant to join their team and support them in their continued evolution.The RoleAs an Information Security Consultant, you will develop and implement information security governance and consultancy to address current and emerging information security and compliance requirements.The Responsibilities*Provide advice and guidance on how to minimise the impact of potential threats to assets and services*Liaise with potential or current partners and suppliers to evaluate the information security levels of the company or services*Support compliance actives for regulators and contractual requirements*Manage information security policies and standards *Ensure controls implemented in production systems are operating as designed to mitigate known risks*Produce governance reports on the effectiveness of controls to internal and external stakeholders*Adherence to standards, including ISO27001 and Information Technology, PCI-DSS and Infrastructure Library (ITIL)The Requirements*Excellent knowledge of industry best practices including NIST, PCI DSS, ISO27001 and any other applicable standards *An ability to communicate complex and technical issues to diverse audiences, orally and in writing, in an easily understood and actionable manner*A team-focused mentality *Strong interpersonal skills*Ideally you will be a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)*Experience with regulatory compliance and information security management frameworks (e.g., IS027000, COBIT, NIST etc.)If you are keen to join a growing and market leading organisation with the opportunity to play a pivotal role in its continued evolution, please apply now.
