Border to Coast are now seeking a HR Manager - someone to develop, lead and manage the recruitment and learning stages of the colleague journey.This newly created role is critical in shaping the culture and performance of the organisation. Whilst the foundations are in place, it’s a fantastic opportunity for someone to really build on those foundations and develop the colleague experience to itstarget state.As HR Manager, you will own and manage the end-to-end recruitment activity across the organisation to include liaison with external recruitment partners and People Managers, with the aim of delivering an excellent people experience for all candidates andhiring managers. Continually finding ways to focus on diversity and inclusion at every stage of the recruitment process, you will work in partnership with hiring managers throughout the process, using the opportunity to raise people management capability.You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements including the completion of pre-employment checks.You will also work to ensure Border to Coast remains a learning organisation, with colleagues feeling both the expectation and opportunity to keep on developing. You will own and manage the learning and development activity across the organisation, includingmanagement of external partners. You will lead the development of an internal learning library for both soft skills and technical learning and work with the Senior HR Business Partner to provide a seamless link between the learning provision with talent development,through career development, personal and professional development plans.About YouWe’d like our HR Manager to have previous experience of managing the recruitment process, from inception to on-boarding, and managing learning & development at all stages of the colleague lifecycle. Comfortable working as part of a small team, getting involvedin all parts of HR practice as needed, you will have good basic HR knowledge across a range of areas such as employee relations, reward, and talent management and demonstrate integrity and ownership of activities through to resolution.A good communicator with a flexible approach, you will have proven experience of multi-tasking and be able to prioritise own workload. You will also be supporting with the development and implementation of HR procedures and any associated training acrossthe employee lifecycle to meet legislative and regulatory obligations. You will partner with Compliance for regulatory submissions and pre-approval applications and assist with fitness and propriety obligations under regulatory regimes, such as SMCR.
