Job Description

Head of Information Security (Deputy CISO EMEA)UK, Remote / Home Based, occasional travel to offices in the NorthSalary: Leadership package, including company car and bonusGreenfield, Leadership appointment reporting into the Global CISO based in the US, this new appointment will take ownership of building a new team responsible for end-to-end Information Security operations for the UK, Ireland, Spain and Australia.The organisation large by size, have a significant presence within Retail and are disrupting several Solar, Renewable Energy and EV industries. Underpinned by a significant AWS cloud transformation.Acting as a technical leader, we need a well-rounded Head of Information Security or a Senior Information Security Leader that has expertise in Identity and Access Management coupled with knowledge of Cloud Security, Vulnerability Management, Incident Responseand Networks.As a Senior Information Security Head, you will be responsible for

  • Working closely with the Global CISO and Global CIO (located in the US and London)
  • Building a functional and domain specialist team within Information Security
  • Building a cultural of collaboration and accountability within a new team
  • Fostering a culture of continuous training and upskilling on new Infosec areas
  • Acting as a trusted Information Security advisor to CxO
  • Selection of Information Security tools and vendors
  • Lead the deployment of Information Security tools and services
  • Ensuring Security Operations and monitoring are operational 24/7/365
  • Developing security measures and policies for Cloud Security (AWS)
Experience required:
  • Demonstrable experience in an Information Security Management or Leadership position, with previous direct line management / function responsibility
  • Demonstrable experience with InfoSec tools CyberArk, BeyondTrust, SailPoint or other commercial IAM solutions
  • Knowledge of Endpoint technologies and SIEM
  • Vulnerability management with knowledge of Malware, String and Threat hunting
  • Beneficial - it would be great if you have Cloud Security experience, ideally AWS
