Position: Fire Alarm Engineer Location: Leeds Salary: £33,000 - £40,000 Working schedule: Monday to Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm Job type: Permanent The Engineering division at SF Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Fire Alarm Engineer to help support projects for our established security & communications client, based in Leeds. Duties include:- Fire Alarm Systems: commissioning, servicing and maintenance. - Conducting site surveys to assess non-compliances with British Standards. - Client satisfaction with the servicing of the system. - Accurate completion of documentation, timesheets, and submission of job reports through the Companys service system - Being aware of health and safety practices whilst working. - Inclusion in the Companys out of hours call out rota Role requirements:- Be able to prove competence of working on networked fire alarm systems - Completed relevant manufacturer training with Gent, Advanced, EMS and Morley systems - Competent working on Aspirating Systems with relevant training - Competent servicing and maintaining addressable and non-addressable fire alarm systems - Working knowledge of current BS5839 parts 1 & 6 - Be able to work to BAFE SP203-1 requirements - FIA qualifications (old FIA Units but ideally NVQ Level 3) - Ideally 5 years experience in maintaining and repairing the above systems - Full UK driving licence
