Financial AccountantPermanent roleSalary from £35,000 depending on experienceUp to 10% PC bonusBased at our offices in Thorpe Park, LeedsWe have an exciting opportunity for a Part Qualified Accountant to join our Finance team! Within this role you will gain experience of several areas of finance and working within the team. Primarily we are looking for a keen and self-motivatedpersonality with excel skills, a knowledge of accounting, commitment to working as a team, and an ability to meet deadlines.You will be part of the Northern Gas Networks (NGN) family, with your employer being a group company.Your key accountabilities and responsibilities as a Financial Account will include• Monthly management accounts reporting including balance sheet reconciliations, bank reconciliations and profit and loss analysis• Preparation of audited and unaudited statutory accounts and year end accounting files for external auditors• Annual budget and forecast production, assist with dividend planning and cost projections• Assistance in preparation of corporation tax computations• Assistance in preparation of Board papers• Treasury compliance monitoring, reporting and purchase ledge lead• Supporting and accounting for potential M&A opportunities (as arise).
