  • Generate Control & Instrument and project related documentation, such as Piping and instrumentation Diagrams, Instrument wiring diagrams, Instrument schedules and control narratives
  • Responsible for the review of factored electrical equipment documentation from Motor, VSD and Transformer vendors.
  • Attend order launch and design review meetings with clients & suppliers
  • Provide specialist electrical knowledge to bridge the gap between Order Related Engineering, the Control & Instrumentation Team and the Lead Electrical Engineer
  • Support and work with a wide range of complex pump packages including motor and gas turbine drivers, gearboxes, fluid couplings, variable speed drives and Control Panels
  • Provide technical support to the wider business, Projects & Procurement, on order related, Control & Instrumentation issues
To succeed in this role, you will need:
  • HNC or equivalent in electrical or electronic engineering
  • Good understanding of LV / MV electrical systems.
  • Experience of controls and instrumentation, application, and product selection.
  • Knowledge of control system design and instrument interface of rotating machinery would be beneficial.
  • Excellent IT skills and proficient CAD user, AutoCAD &/or EPLAN preferred
  • Flexibility & ability to adapt to change

  • Team player, capable of building new relationships
