You will be based at a police control room, dealing with real emergency situations. Can you be a reassuring voice at the endof a phone to listen and guide someone through their options, often during an emergency Can you support police personnel to ensure the highest level of support is provided as quickly as possible to the victim-survivorOur client is the largest womens charitable organisation in Leeds and provides services for victims-survivors of domestic violence and abuse, honour-based violence, forced marriage, trafficking, stalking & harassment and is the lead agency for two consortiums.They are looking for an inspiring woman* someone with a great attitude and knowledge. You will have to work with the public and other professionals, including the police, to promote peoples safety.You will need: An understanding of Domestic Violence & Abuse The ability to deal with stressful and difficult situations Experience of multi-agency partnerships and information sharing Values consistent with those of theirs and a commitment to diversity and inclusionThe closing date is Monday 10th October 2022.
