Job Description

Behaviour Mentor

  • Have you previously worked in a mainstream or special needs school supporting children and young adults displaying challenging behaviour
  • Have you supported vulnerable children in a care or foster setting
  • Or have you got previous experience of sports coaching a wide range of children in various age groups from a variety of backgrounds and abilities
If so, becoming a behaviour mentor could be the ideal new role for you!Veritas Education are currently working with a variety of different Special Needs/SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) settings in the Leeds area. We currently have multiple behaviour support and mentor positions open for the new half term startingfrom Easter 2024 onwards!The ideal candidate would be….
  • Someone who is reliable, trustworthy, and committed to the role
  • Has a good understanding of supporting children and young people from various backgrounds and needs
  • Has previous experience working with children or adults experiencing challenging or at-risk behaviour
  • Is confident managing behaviour and supporting within a school environment
