Job Description

Permanent Accounts Assistant RequiredWe are currently keen to speak with Accounts Assistants who are available and looking for a new permanent role.We are working closely with one of our clients, based in the Morley area in helping them secure an Accounts Assistant. Someone that can come in and hit the ground running, with the ability to support on all aspects of transactional finance, with emphasison the Credit Control.Key Responsibilities:

  • Produce monthly management accounts, including routine journal postings (accruals, prepayments, depreciation etc)
  • Post daily cash postings/bank reconciliation and issue weekly cash reports
  • Monitoring rebate accounts to ensure that rebate payments are made correctly and on time.
  • Completing monthly bank reconciliations
  • Reviewing thefinancial performance against budget and analysing any variances.
  • Working with depot managers to gather data on KPIsand using this information to drive improvements in the business.
  • Nominal coding of invoices
  • Supporting with the Year-end preparation such aspreparing financial statements, such as the balance sheet and income statement, and ensuring that all financial records are up to date.
  • Analysing sales data and making provisions for any potential liabilities or losses.
  • Working with external auditors to ensure that thefinancial statements are accurate and comply with accounting standards.
About You:The successful candidate must be AATqualified and have 2+ years previous experience working in Finance and a general Accounts Assistant role.Ideally we are looking for someone who has experience in the Construction/Drainage industry.You must be able to demonstrate a methodical and logical approach to your work and have confident time management skills.To discuss the role or the other posts that we are recruiting to, please send through an updated version of your CV to
