Job Description

Account Manager£25,000 - £30,000 + CommissionPermanent PlymouthThe CompanyMy client is a national materials business based in Plymouthwho due to business growth is looking to recruit an experienced Account Manager to join the on a full-time permanent basis.This is an office-based position working within a team of 5 Account Managers.This is a traditional account management role where you act at the first point of contact for valuable accounts.Responsibilities:

  • Internal Account Management
  • Sales order processing
  • Initiating contact with lapsed accounts
  • Ability to influence others
  • Inbound customer service
  • Outbound calls to prospect business
  • Meeting KPIs and qualifying prospects
  • Daily communication
  • Sales admin / order processing
  • Reporting
  • CRM use
  • Attend client meetings as and when required
  • Other ad hoc duties in line with the role
What we need:
  • Previous account management experience
  • The ability to sell through service
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal
  • The ability to communicate at all levels
  • Excellent customer service, face to face and telephone
  • Experience of managing both small and large accounts
