Working for Kier youll be at the forefront of this growing market, providing you with opportunity to expand your skills and achieve your career ambitions within a dynamic and passionate team.About the role In this exciting role you will be responsible for Raker and Roller reinstating experience and ensuring that completed works are defect free and are compliant with the Hauc handbook/Highways 23. You will also experience doing backfill and surfacing, as well as ensuring that reinstatement requests are correct and that any incorrect tasks are raised with you line manager.What we need from you

  • Class 1 Driving licence
  • Experience reinstating R&M and project work
  • Knowledge of road types and materials
  • Knowledge of tarmac plants and material splits
  • Knowledge of tipping sites and tarmac plant protocol
  • NRSWA Operative ticket including the below modules:
  • S1 ( Signing lighting & guarding )
  • S2 (Excavation in the Highway)
  • S3 (Reinstatement & compaction of backfill materials)
  • S4 (Reinstatement of sub-base & base in non-bituminous materials
  • S5 (Reinstatement of bituminous materials)
  • S7 (Reinstatement of modular surfaces in concrete footways)
