Job Description

Compliance ManagerEstablished in 1996 to provide flexible and accessible finance to SMEs across the country our client has since grown to become one of the UKs largest finance houses. From this continued success they are now looking to add to their growing collections teambased in their head office in Newport.Putting customers at the heart of everything they do, our client is on the lookout for people with a passion for people: An open ear, a kind word, empathy to continue differentiating them from their competitors.As a compliance manager you will be responsible for:

  • Ongoing business-wide oversight, advice and support concerning FCA and ICO regulations
  • Collation and delivery of compliance reporting at various levels within the company
  • Co-ordination and operation of compliance monitoring strategy
  • Specialist input concerning compliance matters into onboarding and routine reviews of the vendor and broker partners
  • Oversight of the compliance policy suite including input to various compliance policies
The successful compliance manager will:
  • Have extensive commercial compliance experience gained in the consumer credit sector (preferably within a fast-paced SME environment)
  • Be commercially astute with excellent knowledge of consumer credit related regulations and requirements including the FCA Handbook and associated sourcebooks, including; CONC, CCA, SMCR, Vulnerable customers & Financial Promotions
  • Have past experience of compliance monitoring, including reporting.
  • Be experience in interpreting policy requirements and monitoring compliance against these
