Job Description

Compliance & Assurance Manager - Newport (hybrid)The role: Working for a leading provider of specialist finance solutions to UK businesses this is an excellent opportunity to progress your career and join as Compliance & Assurance Manager. Reporting to the Conduct Risk Director the role of Compliance & AssuranceManager forms part of the compliance team and has responsibility to act as the point of contact for the wider business on all regulatory matters.   • Ensure the company operates within the regulatory frameworks and is compliant with all relevant legislation
  • Ongoing business-wide oversight, advice and support concerning regulations
  • Delivery of key regulatory initiatives
  • Delivery of compliance reporting
  • Co-ordination and operation of compliance monitoring strategy
  • Specialist input concerning compliance matters into onboarding and routine reviews of vendor partners
  • Hybrid working (2 days in the office; 3 days from home)
The Company:
  • An established and market leading provider of specialist finance solutions to UK businesses.
The Person:
  • 3 years relevant compliance experience gained within FS sector
  • Knowledge of consumer credit regulations including FCA handbook (CONC, CCA, SMR, vulnerable customers and Fin Proms) would be an advantage
  • Knowledge of implementing assurance and compliance processes
  • Market awareness of current key risks and applying those effectively to the business areas
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills
  • Highly organised, able to adapt quickly to change and deliver to deadlines
