Job Description

Job Title: Specialist Speech and Language TherapistLocation: Lancashire - covering 3 schools in Salwick, Leyland and DarwenSalary: £35,737 to £43,113 per annum depending on experienceHours: Full- time 40hrs per week - Term time only would be considered for the right candidateWe are currently seeking an enthusiastic Speech and Language Therapist to work as part of a therapy team for an innovative provider of specialist education and care, working in the 3 North West Schools based in Lancashire.The role:Working collaboratively with the sites, you will deliver bespoke assessment and intervention plans for our children and young people with developmental trauma, Autism, ADHD, and SEMH needs.You will be responsible for holding a small speech and language therapy caseload for the three special schools and with the support of our experienced Clinical Lead, you will also contribute to staff training, consultation and reflective practice. Both achallenging and rewarding role, this position would suit a resilient and enthusiastic individual, with a therapeutic approach and the ability to make decisions, as well as manage their own workload.Our well-established educational team maintain a nurturing and loving environment where the tyoung people can flourish, always putting our young people at the forefront of everything they do. All our settings maintain a strong safeguarding culture, and ouryoung people are heard, respected and involved in decisions that affect them wherever possible.Experience /Qualifications:

  • You will be a registered member of RCSLT and HCPC
  • Hold a professional Speech and Language Therapy degree or equivalent.
  • As this role involves travel, a full UK driving licence and access to a car is required.
