Job Description

Are you an experienced Senior Finance Manager seeking a new opportunity at a growing Multinational Enterprise (MNE) Then Campbell Liversedge Associates (CLA Recruitment) are looking to speak with you.Our client, a dynamic, innovative and leading international company- operating across Europe, North America and Australia, seeks highly confident and technical Senior Finance Manager to join their growing finance department at their UK based HQ.The Role;

  • Day to day activities include providing accounting support within the finance team, to ensure key financial close are completed in a robust and timely manner
  • Key support role for the Financial Controller
  • You will be responsible for the development of Management Accountants and their assistants
  • Influence and manage the integration and transformation of finance functions on key acquisitions taken place during the year
  • Ownership of the audit process and delivery of key deliverables
  • Communicating with various stakeholders and developing their understanding of key business processes, plus commercial and operational understanding
  • Preparation of monthly management accounts and providing first input into monthly management accounts
  • Presentation of monthly numbers to the Financial Controller
  • Preparation of key inputs into the board pack presented to senior management
  • Provide Financial Controller with concise, and clear updates and ensure all issues are escalated in a timely manner
  • Support Financial Controller in ensuring strong month end controls and adherence to deadlines to support wider group reporting requirements
  • First point of review for work performed by the Management Accountant and their assistants including monthly balance sheet reconciliations
  • Maintain and improve standardisation of tasks and processes
  • Supporting the understanding and investigation of variance analysis relating to actuals vs budgets and forecasts and work closely with the commercial team
  • Support the commercial finance team with information and performance analysis to drive decision making for local teams
  • Ensuring local GAAP requirements are applied correctly in the financial close process

  • Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
  • 4+ years of experience in large finance department
  • Accounting/Finance Degree
  • Strong analytical financial management skills
  • Good organisational skills
  • Excellent stakeholder management
