Job Description

Job Title: Machine Setter/Slitter Operator Location : LancashireSalary £25,437 - £26,963IMMEDIATE STARTAspion are currently recruiting on behalf of a Global company based in Lancashire who are growing at a fast pace going from strength to strength.The company have a large global presence within manufacturing field which will embrace progression and training. Regular pay increases.Duties

  • Setting the machine to the correct measurements in order for the punch to make incisions into the plastic.
  • Unscrew various bots and reels in order for the machine to perform correct incisions and slits in packaging.
  • Work form measurements in order to mark out the machine setting.
  • Document paperwork and sign off finished products with the production team.
  • Monitor machinery output to exceed and deliver targets
  • Complete shift handovers to ensure smooth transition and continuous production.
  • Identify and report non conformities, correcting deficiencies together with Shift Manager and QA.
  • Complete all production reports.
Y0u will need to be mechanically minded and have good technical skills for this role so transferable skills form other i8ndustries are welcomed.Shift Pattern days and nights 24/7 operation working out 1 week off each month.At Aspion, our core values have been built around the importance of transparency, innovation, passion and collaboration.
