Job Description

An exciting position has arisen for an interim Accountant to work for an excellent West London Community Based Charity to provide some critical support. The role will provide critical support to the Finance Manager during year end and be a key contact toauditors.Key responsibilities:

  • To assist the Finance Manager with Year end procedures
  • Liaising with external auditors
  • Complete balance sheet reconciliation
  • Perform bank reconciliations
  • VAT returns
  • Posting journals onto the system
  • Set up new suppliers and debtors on the system
  • Assist with prepayments and accruals / month end close
Successful candidate profile:
  • At least 3 years experience in a similar finance role
  • Experience dealing with auditors at year end
  • Experience with month and year end procedures
  • Excellent communication skills – written and verbal
