As a Barclays ServiceNow Senior Developer, you will be responsible for the design and development / implementation of ServiceNows solutions and provide technical & architectural guidance to high performing peers. This role will enable you to work withthe IT Service Management leadership, IT service owners, process owners and various service delivery groups to develop technical solutions that satisfy the business needs of the bank to a high quality. What will you be doing Providing architectural and design oversight to ensure all solutions are fit for purpose and use Building technical solutions based on clients needs and process requirements Delivering solutions using Agile software development processes Understanding of the "as is processes" and delivering toolset changes based on upcoming process changes Performing customisation or development of enhancement requests for existing ITSM/ITOM tools and processes Working closely with BAs, Architects, testing team and process teams Identifying areas of process and tooling improvement and provide solutions to ensure tool is protected in process, security and performance aspects What were looking for: Experience of ServiceNow web services and APIs, expertise in JavaScript, with working knowledge of Active Directory, LDAP, SSO , and Workflow Configuration Experience with Web Technologies (XML, HTML, JavaScript, Web Services, etc) Exposure to the follow key modules in ServiceNow is required: Incident/Problem/Change, CMDB, Discovery, Knowledge and Service (Request) Catalogue Ability to demonstrate a good end to end understanding of the systems processing for the business area and relationships Skills that will help you in the role: Working experience in ServiceNow Service Portal Ability to interface and develop with Java/J2EE backend technologies Working Understanding of Active Directory, LDAP, SSO Working knowledge of web applications, networks, protocols and email (SMTP, POP3) Where will you be workingYou will be based in Radbroke, Knutsford.
