Job Description

Role Title: Service Now Senior Developer Location: Knutsford (on-site) Duration: 6 Months Rate: £600-635/day inside IR35 Role Description:This is an exciting opportunity to work with a client based in Knutsford on 6-month contract (likely to extend) Key Accountabilities:* Provide architectural and design oversight to ensure all solutions are fit for purpose and use. * Design/Build technical solutions based on clients needs and process requirements * Deliver solutions using Agile software development processes * Understand the current "as is processes" and deliver toolset changes based on upcoming process changes * Customisation or development of enhancement requests for existing ITSM/ITOM tools and processes * Take care of end to end development activities for a specific enhancement or project as an individual contributor * Work closely with BAs, Architects, Testing team and process teams * Identify areas of process and tooling improvement and provide solutions to ensure tool is protected in process, security and performance aspects * Ensure gaps are clearly identified and reported to BA/stake holders * Produce design documents where ever necessary * Work closely with vendor resources to meet development deadlines in case of larger projects * Take respective ownership as an individual contributor throughout the project lifecycle * Take respective ownership of preparation of release plan * Involve in Proof of concept activities and provide best possible solution to customers/stake holders * Ongoing involvement in continuous improvement of toolset Skill requirements:Business Analysis - Good knowledge of business analysis methodologies: Delivery & Project Management - Holds working knowledge in concepts and practices of delivery Leadership - Holds working knowledge in concepts and practices of Leadership Management - Holds working knowledge in concepts and practices of Management is a plus People Development - Holds working knowledge in concepts and practices of People Development Team Working - Works collaboratively with others, achieving a greater contribution by working together rather than alone: Customer Focus - Establishes and maintains effective relationships with clients and gains their trust and respect Risk and Control Objective - Ensure that all activities and duties are carried out in full compliance with regulatory requirements, Enterprise Wide Risk Management Framework and internal Barclays Policies and Policy Standards.
