Job Description

Senior Java Developer, Knutsford (UK based candidates only)A fantastic opportunity for a senior Java Developer to join one of the most agile and innovative Java Development teams. This is an exciting company who specialise in software for web security testing. Over 48000 customers in over 100 countries and a stronghistory of growth from their offices within the UK.What will you be doing

  • Solve unusual and difficult problems in innovative ways
  • Work in small, cross-functional teams on their desktop and enterprise software products
  • Practice Agile, with pair programming, TDD, obsession with quality, rapid release cycles, and frequent team retrospectives
  • Learn from and share your knowledge with a close-knit group of high-performing individuals
Requirements:
  • Teamwork
  • You must thrive on being surrounded by other exceptional people
  • Extensive solution finding
  • Critical thinking as an individual and a team
  • In terms of tech, they dont fixate on knowledge of any stack, since youll be able to learn anything new very quickly (you do need to know core Java inside-out)
  • Some knowledge of SQL, REST, and JavaScript would be beneficial
  • Prior knowledge of web security is not necessary
  • Tooling includes IntelliJ IDEA, JUnit, Mockito, git, Gradle, TeamCity, Docker, and various AWS services (prior experience of these would be beneficial but is not essential)
