Job Description

We are looking for a passionate Senior Front End Engineer to join our UX/UI Centre of Excellence, working full time on Project Diamond - an exciting new care solution within the Health & Care arm of the business. You will report to the UX Director as part of a multi disciplinary but highly specialised team of UX Designers and Front End Engineers, contributing to and utilising an innovative internal UXUI framework with excellent scope for high impact deliverables.What you will be doingAs Senior Front End Engineer, you will:

  • Own the UI development aspect of the project (framework usage, UI Component implementation, translation ofmockupsinto UI etc)
  • Implementing high quality HTML/CSS according to company frameworks and best practice Accessibility standards.
  • Implementing pixel perfecthigh qualitylook and feel applications and take pride in building beautiful software.
  • What you will have
  • Strong experience of modern Javascript frameworks and libraries
  • Strong experience of using NodeJS to high performance sites.
  • Experience working with HTML5 and CSS3
  • Awareness and practice of UI performance best practices
  • A desire to write readable, maintainable, modular and extendable code
  • Experience in creating a responsive site with multiple viewports.
  • Strong analytical skills and problem solving aptitude
  • Understanding of industry standard web accessibility, web design, & usability
  • Experience in mentor junior developers on development methodologies and optimization techniques
  • Understanding/working knowledge of GIT and Visual Studio
