Security Operations Governance Lead

As a Barclays Security Operations Governance Lead, you will be joining the team responsible for the design, control and governance of the processes and procedures used in the management, investigation, resolution and reporting of security incidents acrossthe Barclays group. You will be utilising the Intelligence Driven Defence (IDD) methodology and NIST Framework to enhance Barclays security posture. What will you be doing Leading on Security project work, delivering and executing against plans and achieving key milestone dates against a programme wide plan Driving the development and roll out of the Intelligent Driven Defence (IDD) approach within the Cyber, Economic Crime, Insider Threat and beyond Creation of Concept of Operations, Business Process Architectures, Work Instructions, Processes and Policies, including ongoing document lifecycle management Managing project based resource delivering critical project artefacts on time, distributing and embedding the artefacts across the Security Operations into operational support Defining and evolving the process and governance for Security Operations forums such as RICE, RIF, Change Forum etc. Delivering, educating, operationalising and embeding key operational documents that underpin Security Operations and wider functions Leading the delivering, mitigation and closure of audit actions, control objectives, risk events and any other activity to meet our obligations with respect to Security Operations Driving the enhancements, improvements and delivery of monitoring and response methods and processes to reduce risk What were looking for: Knowledge of approaches to governance, risk management and control and an awareness of regulatory requirements, ideally within the financial services industry Understanding process workflows and able to create necessary documentation Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications, including Visio or other process mapping tools Able to identify and report against key performance indicators and related metrics Skills that will help you in the role: Working knowledge of tools used across CSO including strategic platforms such as Service Now, Confluence and JIRA Where will you be workingYou will be based in Radbroke, Knutsford.
