As a Barclays Security Engineer-Cloud Services, you will join the Security Engineering and Technology Services and ensure that Barclays services are operating at their optimum by building out and maintaining resilience, upgrading and patching, configuringsystems and working with customers to meet their requirements. What will you be doing Maintaining and operating supported security services/toolsets Creating and maintaining accurate and high quality documentation Negotiating and managing timeline/prioritization expectations effectively with stakeholders Being customer-focused on strong service delivery Managing, co-ordinating and implementing technical project activities Implementing enhancements to services Conducting Incident/Problem/Recovery activities Remediating Audit and Control issues What were looking for: Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills, working experience within large and complex projects Proven experience in supporting and troubleshooting vendor applications Proven experience of cloud technologies and automation in an operational environment (AWS, Containers, Chef) Solid understanding of networking technologies; switches, routers, firewalls, proxies, IDS, IPS Skills that will help you in the role: An understanding of security tool sets; Vulnerability Assessment, Firewall Assurance, Cloud Access Security Broker (CASB), Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM) Experience with scripting / programming languages, Python, PowerShell, Chef, SQL Proven working experience of Windows and Linux operating systems Where you will be workingYou will be based in Radbroke, Knutsford.
