As a Barclays Salesforce Application Architect this is an exciting opportunity where you will be responsible for providing salesforce solutions to business problems and applying the architectural framework as laid down by the enterprise architecture teamwithin Wholesale onboarding/KYC/Fulfilment/FinCrime Ops (TC1). You will be part of a team in Group-wide consolidated Client Onboarding, Fulfilment, Know Your Client (KYC) and Offboarding. What will you be doing Proposing feasible, scalable, and maintainable Salesforce solutions that meet business goals and ensure the solution is compliant to the defined control framework Owning and maintaining Org level Data Model and providing design assurance by providing design sign off for Data Model changes Maintaining Org level designs initiatives/activities and impact assessments, Work with Salesforce PA, SF CIO teams on SF OOB functionality to be leveraged Engaging relevant design authorities to review and approve the solution proposed Collaborating with Salesforce Orgs outside BUK to identify SF OOB capabilities leveraged to meet requirements. Communicate & learn from different teams Updating checklists with new Salesforce release updates - Design, Security, Data, Enterprise Providing and maintaining Org level integration catalogue, Data dictionary, and reusable component catalogue Decomposing the solution, including risk stories into manageable tasks to be picked by build teams What were looking for: Certified Salesforce Application Architect/System Architect with extensive hands-on experience using active Salesforce Proficient in building solutions using Salesforce Sales cloud, Salesforce development and design skills including Apex, Lightning, SOQL, Process Builder, Flow Excellent communication (written, analytical and verbal) with exceptional interactive skills Experienced in documenting and presenting Salesforce integration design patterns and get approvals from CTO, CSO, etc Skills that will help you in the role: Background in completing Code Review and Code Optimization on APEX Prior experience in Mentoring and Managing a team of Developers Experience working within the Private Banking industry High levels of drive, energy, and passion to motivate and inspire others Where will you be workingThe Barclays Technology Campus, just outside Manchester, is our transatlantic tech command centre for information security in the UK.
