Job Description

Interesting and successful SaaS business. Knutsford. The RoleThe Digital Marketing Manager will sit alongside the Marketing Manager, Digital Marketing Exec, junior Marketing Exec, and Data Analyst. The marketing has two main focusses Acquisition, and retention. Retention is centred around brand building and communicating with existing customers, this would largely fall under the remit of the Marketing manager and junior exec. Acquisition focusses on reaching out to find new customers, globally, finding and engaging with people who are new to the brand. This is a role for a lover of data-led activity, someone pro-active who enjoys experimenting with new approaches, platforms, techniques, someone who wants the support of a company that thinks the same way and invests budget accordingly. Responsibilities will include- Strategy, delivery and analysis of paid media campaigns across PPC, Paid Social Media (facebook, linkedin, Twitter, Youtube), Display / GDN, and any other format or platform that is considered a viable channel, and overseeing SEO performance. - Working in synergy with the Marketing Manager to ensure that all activity is joined up, that content is readily available, and to push forward ideas for new approaches and initiatives that will support the acquisition activity- Analysing campaign and website data to report on effectiveness and to draw commercially useful insightsThe PersonThis role may suit Digital Marketing Manager, Paid Media Manager, Biddable Media Manager, or similar, who are looking for a strategic, autonomous, and responsible role in a great company with a supportive and collaborative culture. The right candidate will come with some or all of the following- 5 years commercial experience managing data led paid media campaigns, and a solid understanding of how to target across the various platforms, as well as solid exposure to SEO and Google Analytics- The ability to demonstrate an inquisitive and experimental approach to marketing, testing new ideas, an appreciation of the value of fail fast and learn- Experience managing monthly paid media budgets in the thousands, and with the commercial awareness to identify when and where to increase or reduce spend in order to improve overall effectiveness and ROIThe CompanyThe Digital Marketing Manager will be joining a Software as a Service business with dominant market penetration in the UK, and a foothold in multiple overseas territories.
