As a Barclays Cyber Operations Analyst you will join the modern Chief Security Office and be responsible for proactive reduction of Barclays Attack Surface for new and emerging cyber threats. This will be the ideal role for someone who has the abilityto work as part of a multidisciplinary team in the delivery of information security and privacy response services to the global retail and commercial enterprise. What will you be doing Working as part of a multidisciplinary team in the delivery of information security and privacy response Assisting testing efforts aimed at reducing identified risks via innovative detection Validating countermeasure effectiveness Displaying current SIEM monitoring tools, techniques and processes Providing Cyber Security incident management and investigations Displaying dynamic and Static malware analysis and/or reverse engineering techniques Endpoint Detection & Response tooling, forensic artefact recovery and analysis Providing intelligence Investigations, IOCs management and extrapolate adversary tools, techniques and procedures Building threat actor profiles and using mitre to conduct threat hunting missions. What were looking for: Interest in the field of incident response and mitigation, web application security, threat research or intelligence analysis Interest in the area of malware analysis, incident response, network security, threat management, cloud security OR threat intelligence Candidates must be willing to work in an operational environment with occasional on-call assistance Ability to present critical security deficiencies and solutions to multiple audiences Skills that will help you in the role: Studying for Bachelors Degree and/or relevant work experience Demonstrable DevOps initiatives targeting capability uplift and automation in the field of Cyber Defense Demonstrable experience in countermeasure creation and deployment Where will you be workingYou will be based in Radbroke, Knutsford.
