Job Description

As a Barclays Controls Analyst - SOx Testing, you will be providing insights to the effectiveness of Technology and Cyber controls, including adherence to Standards. You will be contributing to the annual SOx testing exercise, working across Functionsand Business Units to facilitate consistent engagement with external auditors. Assisting the execution of risk and control activities such external audits and regional exams. You will help comply with the Barclays Control Framework (BCF) and the policies andstandards underpinning the BCF. We also have a flexible working process where, subject to business needs, all colleagues globally are able to request work patterns to reflect their personal circumstances.Please discuss the detail of the working pattern options for the role with the hiring manager. What will you be doing Assisting the coordination of SOx testing of Technology and Application controls Assisting and supporting the oversight process of closure of external audit deficiencies Responding to ad-hoc control assessment related requests and escalating problems as required Helping with the coordination of cross-functional control initiatives Preparing reports and communicate compliance position in relation to specific control areas Gathering, reviewing and interpreting data/information related to Technology and Cyber risks and controls What were looking for: Broad experience in areas of Operational Risk Management (e.g. Technology, Information Risk, Resilience, Cyber), methodologies and toolsets Proven ability to demonstrate good knowledge of the principles of risk management, according to a three lines of defense model Competent in discussing the technology with technical and Risk Subject Matter Experts Excellent attention to detail and a real commitment to deliver high quality outputs first time Skills that will help you in the role: You have relevant risk management qualification (e.g. CISA, CRISC, IRM) or working towards them Broad financial Services industry knowledge, in particular relating to technology infrastructure Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team Track record in delivering to tight deadlines under pressure Where will you be workingRadbroke You will be based in Radbroke, Knutsford.
