Job Description

Here at MJ Quinn we are currently expanding our Streetworks team which has created an exciting new opportunity for a Streetworks Coordinator to join the business. This position will be based in our Head Office in Knowsley, Liverpool, working Monday - Friday 8am-5pm.MJ Quinn are an established national organisation, with contracts covering the length and breadth of the UK and Ireland. Always holding ourselves accountable, we continue to innovate and strive to excel in everything we do.As the Streetworks Coordinator, you will be responsible for the co-ordination of the notices required by the operations team and be a point of contact to deal with queries from the local authorities and MJQ operations team.Responsibilities of the role:

  • Submit notices to the local authorities and liaise with them to ensure the works progress in the required time-scales and to the highest quality standards.
  • Responsible for supplying feedback to the operations teams that may arise to upkeep the relationships with the local authorities.
  • To be fundamental in developing MJQ’s working culture, its reputation and values.
  • Work with the operations team with jeopardy management to help the amend plan when dates cannot be met.
  • To liaise with internal departments within the business such as civils departments to ensure that all dependencies are met.
  • Desirables:
  • Have experience on Council systems, EXOR, SYMOLOGY , ETON, or permits (desirable)
  • Work on initiative, proactive and willing to challenge
  • Have excellent time management and experience meeting tight deadlines
  • Hold strong communication skills
  • Have strong IT skills and competency in computer systems
