Job Description

Civils PlannerKnowsley, Liverpool £28,000 - £30,000 (flexible depending on experience) Monday – Friday, 8am – 5pmI’m currently recruiting for an experienced Telecoms Planner to join a leading network and telecommunications business.They are seeking a Planner to support the current planning team in the planning of ‘flex planning’ for the North West and Welsh Marches in line with key contracts.Benefits:-

  • Closed between Christmas and New Year (not using your holiday allowance)

The Candidate;
  • Previous Civils planning experience
  • Previous planning experience for engineers or similar
  • Previous planning experience within a telecoms or similar business is advantageous
  • A understanding of councils and permits is highly desirable
  • Excellent system based planning experience
  • Previous experience within a fast paced planning position
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
  • Competent decision making
  • Good geographical knowledge of the UK
Duties and Responsibilities;
  • Allocating work to engineers and recording data from the daily updates provided by the teams.
  • Raising Permit request process and ensuring all permits are managed effectively escalating any failure to comply.
  • Ensure teams provide regular updates and system is updated accordingly.
  • Comply with planning process ensuring all teams follow the Depotnet process through to billing.
  • Log any variations in claims and add to Depotnet for client to approve.
  • Manage daily whereabouts and submit to client by 9am daily.
  • Assist commercial with any queries from the timesheets or invoices and respond with action taken.
  • Organise TM as and when required and apply any variations in costs and permit where applicable.
  • Keep area trackers up to date and attend weekly conference calls with client to report on delivery in area.
  • Have weekly meetings with Survey Manager and Operations support manager to discuss delivery, processes, issues, local authority requirements and Offences and AOB.
  • Ensure engineers upload supporting information such as LLR Reports, TRR Packs and A55s to Depotnet.
