Job Description

Working Hours: 09:00 - 17:00 Monday-FridaySalary: Between £30,000 - £40,000 Depending on experience.We are seeking an experienced PowerApps Engineer to join our existing Technology team at M J Quinn. The successful candidate will be responsible for building new and supporting existing PowerApps, assisting with design, and deploying custom solutions usingthe Microsoft Power Platform. Reporting to the IT Manager, the role requires a deep understanding of Microsoft PowerApps, Power Automate, and Power BI, Power Pages and will be expected to support PowerApps which are already in use in the business.Key Responsibilities:

  • Design PowerApps solutions from scratch.
  • Design, develop and maintain Custom Workflows and Automation using Power Automate.
  • Design, Build and create Power Page sites.
  • Support PowerApps in a high-availability, high-reliability environment, including Microsoft Dynamics 365.
  • Utilise Power BI to create visualisations and reports.
  • Collaborate with Business Analysts, Key Stakeholders and Product Owner to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Work with SharePoint Online and Microsoft Dynamics 365 to integrate PowerApps solutions.
  • Provide training and support to end-users.
  • Stay up to date with the latest Microsoft Power Platform updates and trends.
  • Troubleshoot and maintain existing PowerApps solutions.
Key Skills
  • Experience with Power Platform technologies; PowerApps, Power Automate, Power BI
  • Ideally aware of the concepts of building Power Pages
  • Experience developing Model Driven Applications/Dynamics
  • Experience with JavaScript
  • Experience with Dataverse applications
Desired Experience & Qualifications:
  • University degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in PowerApps development with a proven track record of creating successful Canvas as well as Model-Driven apps using industry standard design patterns and practices across a variety of connectors
  • Full understanding of the PowerApps Studio and how to create functional, responsive, and attractive User Experiences.
  • Good developmental hygiene with writing documentation and commenting what you create.
  • Experience working on AGILE projects.
  • Expert general knowledge and experience of Power Automate, and Power BI.
  • Strong experience with SharePoint Online and MS Dynamics 365.
  • Experience with Microsoft DevOps
  • A strong motivation to develop skills in new Power solutions (Power Pages)
  • Experience with Dataverse and other features of the Power Platform.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to create detailed development, process, and training documents.
  • A self-starter with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
