This is an outstanding opportunity for an actively studying, Part Qualified CIMA or ACCA Management Accountant to join an innovative, award winning owner-managed SME Manufacturer. Joining the team as the No 2 in Finance and reporting to an ACMA Financial Controller committed to supporting you with achieving full qualification, your responsibilities will include:- Managing a small transactional finance team- Preparation of the Monthly Management Accounts- Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet- Preparation of the MI & KPI reporting pack- Variance analysis & reporting- Bank Reconciliations- Project Accounting- Absorption cost control & reporting- Labour utilisation analysis & reporting- VAT returns- Accruals & Prepayments- EC Sales & Intrastat- Assisting with Audit queries when required- Additional duties depending the experience/level of the successful applicantApplicants will have broad management and financial accounting experience and will be keen and ambitious with the desire to develop and progress to full CIMA or ACCA qualification. You will have excellent people/communication skills with the proven ability to forge strong business partner relationships with a diverse range of colleagues up to board level. Sage 200 and manufacturing sector is preferred but not essential.
