Baddesley Clinton & Packwood House close by are part of a trio of properties alongside Coughton Court, so collaborative working between staff and volunteers is encouraged.Retail is an integral part of the Visitor offer and we work closely with other departments to deliver a memorable visit.The retail team at Baddesley consists of a Retail Manager who also manages the Packwood team, Team leader based at Baddesley and 6 part time team members supported by 7 volunteers. Our days start at 8.30am and finish at 5.15pm in Summer, 4.15pm in Winter.We are open 7 days a week all year round so weekend working and holiday cover is required.To find out more about what it’s like to work within “Retail” at the National Trust, click here to watch our video. What youll be doing Youll be required to support the day to day management of the property retail operation and plant sales so that it is commercially successful and consistently exceeds our visitors expectations. Youll monitor sales data, stock and compliance and merchandiseproducts to achieve stretching financial targets, leading by example when it comes to maximising our profitability and income.Youll also supervise paid and voluntary retail staff and work effectively alongside colleagues elsewhere in the property to deliver great service to visitors, promoting and enhancing the propertys sense of place.Please read the role profile, attached to this advert.
