Job Description

Implementation Project ManagerBased Birmingham, West Midlands/ Warwickshire bordersPaying up to £65,000Nationwide Recruitment Service (NRS) is seeking a talented and innovative Senior Implementation Project Manager for their market-leading client.The Senior Implementation Project Manager ensures that customers receive product implementations achieving goals such as:

  • Ensuring customers/ clients implementations are delivered on time, within budget, of top quality, and to the clients expectations
  • Ensure implementations are controlled to support NRSS CLIENTS financial and operational objectives
The Senior Implementation Project Manager has overall responsibility for the success and profitability of new client implementations.You will need a track record and previous experience in the following:Relationship Management
  • Coordinate with key customers/clients/ stakeholders to define project scope and requirements
  • Collaborate with and manage 3rd party suppliers
  • Record and maintain comprehensive project progress documentation
  • Lead frequent check-ins and meetings with internal stakeholders and client stakeholders
  • Ensure that your implementation delivery supports Net Promotor Score targets.
Project Financials
  • Pro-actively manage project budgets; tracking actuals against forecasts and ensure we deliver against forecasts
  • Work closely with Finance to manage client invoicing
  • Manage project spending against budgets obtaining approvals where required
  • Ensure delivery supports financial targets
Delivery of Implementations
  • Support the project team to enable them to deliver client implementations.
  • Ensure work is planned and delivered to support commitments made both to our clients and internal stakeholders
  • Manage dependencies between the client, third-party providers, and NRSS CLIENTS.
  • Create, manage and own the project execution plan (PPM, MS Project)
  • Ensure that the backlog is maintained in JIRA
Governance
  • Ensure weekly project status reporting
  • Ensure all changes follow the change management process
  • Financial management
  • Risk and issue management
  • Maintain RAID logs
  • Manage change through the SDLC
  • Review and report on Burn Up, Burn Down charts and Velocity
Project Management Practice
  • Contribute to the Project Management practices by contributing to improvements in processes, methods, and tools
  • Lead knowledge creation, sharing, and coaching
  • Ensure processes are followed and auditable
Due to the nature and content of this role, you will need the following skills & Competencies:Required
  • Experience as an Implementation project manager in software development and implementation environment.
  • Experience in large-scale implementations and large-scale data migrations
  • Experience working in an Agile environment
  • Experience managing customer relationships and satisfaction ensuring revenue growth.
  • Stakeholder management
  • Project and resource planning
  • Leading multiple teams responsible for software development
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
  • Good attention to detail
  • Experience in enforcing processes
  • Understanding of key project management principles
  • Understanding of software development lifecycles
  • Ability to function in a rapidly changing environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to effectively manage budgets and delegate tasks
  • Working knowledge of project management methodology, tools, and techniques
