Job Description

Inhaler Device Testing ConsultantRate: up to £50 per hour, outside IR35Contract length: 6 monthsStart date: asapThe Role: A medical device business requires a Device Test consultant to work on the testing of a new inhaler.In this role you will be responsible for testing the inhaler and the components of the inhaler. This will include carrying out force testing, aerodynamic testing, chemical testing and high-performance liquid chromatography.As a Lead Device Test Consultant you will be responsible for communicating directly with customers as well as having line management responsibility for colleagues in the laboratory carrying out the testing activities.Your responsibilities in this role:

Managing the testing of inhalers and inhaler components in the laboratory
Overseeing the technical testing activities e.g validation, equipment and methods used
Communicating regularly with customers
Documentation management and reporting
Line management of colleagues in the laboratory on this project

Skills required:

Experience working with Inhalers
Comfortable working in a Laboratory
Excellent communication skills i.e. liaising/ communicating with customers & colleagues

Desirable experience:

Force testing
Line Management experience
