Job Description

Are you an Elec-Mech Fitter seeking a new challenge with a clear progression path Are you interested in working for a world renowned company who designs and manufactures state of the art life saving special purpose machinery Our client is lookingto hire immediately.   • A prior background within Engineering and a production environment as a Machine Wirer or Mechanical Fitter or Control Panel Wirer
  • An Engineering education - ideally an apprenticeship and industry experience but other relevant qualifications would be accepted
  • Previous experience of wiring control panels into various pieces of machinery
  • Previous experience of complete machine wiring
  • Previous experience of mechanical fitting
  • A good understanding of engineering drawings and diagrams
  • Basic Panel Wiring understanding - fitting of Din-rails, wiring motors, inverters, controls etc
  • Basic crimping / looming and wiring skills
Responsibilities:
  • Crimping, looming and terminating of cables and wires
  • Complete machine wiring from scratch
  • Working from a range of engineering drawings
  • Making bespoke alterations where required
  • Wiring of controls panels into pieces of machinery
  • Basic Panel Wiring - assembly and wiring of the panel from scratch
