Job Description

An opportunity has arisen with a specialist care provider, who is seeking a Registered Manager for a service near Thirsk, North Yorkshire. The service supports individuals with Learning Disabilities and Autism. The client requires an experienced Registered Manager who will provide leadership to the staff, support the needs of the service users and motivate the staff. The home is rated ‘good’ with CQC.This organisation prides itself of supporting its Managers and staff, rewarding them for being service user focused teams. They have a range of residential and supported living services across Yorkshire, Stockton and Durham.Key Responsibilities of a Registered Manager:

  • Recruitment and selection of staff matched to needs of service users
  • Management and support of a team of senior staff
  • Ensuring continuous, reliable and consistent service delivery at all times
  • Maximising positive outcomes for all service users
  • Performance management
  • Auditing and Quality Assurance
  • Compliance with CQC & commissioner expectations and standards
  • Contract management
  • Providing excellent customer care to all stakeholders
  • Benefits:
  • Competitive Salary: £33,000 - 37,000
  • This includes a quarterly bonus based on occupancy, compliance and other performance areas
  • Home Manager Requirements:
  • Experience with Learning Disabilities and Autism
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Commercially strong with good business development knowledge and experience
  • Managing and controlling resources to meet demands and changing priorities, ensuring financial viability
  • Able to carry out quality assurance checks and to ensure that CQC standards and requirements are met at all times.
  • Making sure service users get the most out of the service
