Job Description

We are really pleased to be able to present an exciting opportunity to support the National response to the Covid19 PandemicAll candidates must pass a DBS check and drug and alcohol test prior to employmentMain Purpose of JobThe Transport Administrator is a key role in the Business. We are are front line workers, supporting companies in delivering a vital service to the NHS and our key Government Contracts.The main functions of this role are to ensure that our client deliveries are processed and booked in with customers, to provide support within transport briefing & debriefing drivers using various systems ,dealing with calls from drivers , customers and other Moviant departmentsKey Responsibilities / Outputs

  • Briefing & debriefing of drivers
  • Delivery bookings (customers).
  • Responsible for the input of data onto the transport system and internal/external reports.
  • Collation of data from Transport /warehouse activities – client deliveries.
  • Depot searches.
  • Answering telephone calls internal and external.
  • Dealing with driver issues.
  • Liaising with other departments/depots within Movianto
  • Responding to internal vehicle chill alerts.
  • Flexible approach to team challenges.
  • Specific depots – Oracle & Kronos
  • Using various transport systems –e.g. TMS ,Verilocation , Zetes
  • To support the H&S and legislative requirements at all times
  • Carry out all reasonable requests by Depot Management.
  • Possible requirement for Christmas working (premium pay)
  • Qualifications / Experience / Knowledge / Attributes required for the job (essential and desirable)· GCSE educated or similar level· Able to work under pressure and to strict deadlines· Able to work within a team and individually· Excellent organisational skills· High attention to detail· Competent in the use of Microsoft packages and excellent typing skills· Ability to follow and provide clear instructions· Have an appreciation of UK road transport rules and regulationsReference ID: AVTAJob Types: Full-time, Temporary, ContractSalary: £17,651.00-£19,498.00 per yearBenefits:
