As a Trainee Insurance Broker, you will be committed to completing a fully fundedtraining programme and attain chartered insurance qualifications.Opportunity Details:* Full-time / Permanent - Monday to Friday - 9am-5pm* Office Based: Knaresborough* Starting Salary: £21,500-£23,000 per annum (dependent on previous experience)* Fully funded training and CII qualifications* Other benefits include: 25 days holiday + bank holidaysThe role of a Trainee Insurance Broker:* Once you have received initial training and support, you will be responsible for servicing a dedicated portfolio of clients, this can involve managing renewals, invoicing, producing new quotes, recommending additional products whilst handling any additionalqueries that are presented.* Provide excellent client service on all aspects of account management to clients, ensuring client needs are identified and met in line with agreed service standards.* Ensure timely completion of all set tasks ensuring client satisfaction.* Demonstrate your adaptability skills when required to support colleagues in completing business critical tasks.* Through training, coaching, and mentoring have a thorough understanding of all major classes of insurance that we offer our clients and keep abreast of new technical and product developments.* Build relationships with other businesses and represent the company at networking events.What you need to have:* Previous experience within a client/customer facing role, this can be gained from within a similar office-based role or working in environments such as (but not limited to) retail, hospitality, food & beverage etc.* Strong literacy, numeracy, administration, and communication skills that can be demonstrated via qualifications/grades gained during education.* Ability to remain calm under pressure and be able to work flexibly when required.* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple enquiries simultaneously.* Have experience utilising the Microsoft Office suite and similar products.What makes you the ideal person to become an Insurance Broker:* A desire for a long-term career within the insurance industry.* A thirst for learning and the opportunity to study for further insurance related qualifications.If the opportunity for a Trainee Insurance Broker sounds like something you would like to hear more about, please apply with a well-presented and up to date CV.If shortlisted, our client will contact you to discuss the role and your experience further.Key Appointments UK Ltd will assess your suitability for the role based on the information contained in your CV and application.
