Job Advert: Kitchen Porter - Restaurant with Rooms in Surrey (Live-In Option Available)Are you passionate about working in a dynamic culinary environment Do you thrive in a fast-paced kitchen setting We are currently seeking a dedicated and hardworking Kitchen Porter to join our team at a renowned restaurant with rooms located in Surrey.Position: Kitchen PorterLocation: SurreySalary: £24,000 - £26,000 per annumAccommodation: Live-in option available, single room with shared kitchen/sitting areaWorking Days: Wednesday to Saturday (Sunday to Tuesday off)Responsibilities:Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen area, including washing dishes, utensils, and equipment.- Ensure the timely delivery of clean and sanitized items to the kitchen staff.- Assist with basic food preparation tasks under the guidance of the chef.- Handle waste management and recycling duties efficiently.- Follow health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment.- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations.Requirements:- Previous experience as a Kitchen Porter is preferred but not essential.- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain cleanliness standards.- Positive attitude and a team player mentality.- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required.- Basic understanding of food hygiene and safety practices.The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a highly regarded restaurant with rooms, known for its exceptional food and service.
