Job Description

Role: Cell LeaderLocation: KintoreIndustry: Engineering, ElectricalEmployment: PermanentSalary: £38,000 - £40,000This is an excellent opportunity to join a global manufacturing business as a Cell Leader, supporting and leading a team of Electrical Technicians.You will be working in a stunning facility to improve production processes and ensure that production output is optimised through careful planning and monitoring.Youll need to be a proven leader that can maintain a careful balance between production efficiency and meeting the needs of the team.Duties

  • Plan assembly sequences to achieve optimum production flow.
  • Be responsible for Cell workload.
  • Monitor and optimise Cells performance.
  • Technical and behavioural mentoring of operatives within the Cell.
  • Ensure workload requirements are covered.
  • Liaise closely with the Production Manager for any scheduling variations.
  • Monitor and optimise Cells performance.
  • Ensure all equipment and tools are used correctly & kept in good working order.
  • Attend production meetings when required.
  • Participate in interview process for prospective recruits.
  • Actively participate in the training of personnel and training recommendations.
  • Ensure quality procedures are adhered to within the cell.
  • Maintain material tractability throughout manufacturing process.
  • Ensure all HSE compliance is adhered to within the cell and wider business.
  • Become fully familiar with the assemblies within Cell.
Background
  • HNC in Electrical engineering/Manufacturing discipline.
  • Apprenticeship in an electrical field (desirable).
  • Quality Management System exposure.
  • Current Valid CompEx EX01-04 (desirable).
