Here at Parker Steel we have an exciting opportunity for a Sawman to join our busy Operations team at our Dudley Site. The role is full time, Monday to Friday, 14.00-22.30 on a permanent basis withhour lunch. You will read and work from engineering/customer drawings as well as working to engineering tolerances. You will ensure that processed goods are to the highestquality.Working as a team managing steel products. Responsible for operation and care of Steel Saws and Tube Lasers, picking goods and packing orders and ensuring the working environment is safe and secure. Operation and use of IT equipment including PCs, tablets.Overhead Crane and Forklift / Side Loader operation.What are we looking for in our SawmanThe role will suit a team worker who is keen to learn and committed within this fast-paced workplace. Experience in operation of similar equipment in a construction, factory or warehouse environment is essential, further training will be provided. Reliabilityand efficiency are key attributes of the successful applicant.You will have excellent attention to detail to ensure products are handled and stored correctly.
