Job Description

We are working closely with a client to recruit a PDC Operator to join their new and very clean premises based in Kingswinford.Your role will be to customise the full range of equipment to specific customer requirements.Main Responsibilities of the position:

  • Ensure all machines are customised and prepared in line with specific customer requirements.
  • Ensure machines are tested and checked in line with existing procedures and work instructions so quality of output is maximised.
  • Undertake regular training relative to PDC on the full range of machines.
  • Ensure all machines are packed to the agreed specification and in a safe and secure manner ready for despatch.
  • Ensure all deliveries to customers are met.
  • Record all faults found during the test process.
  • Monitor work instructions, customer requirements and machine specifications and advise the Warehouse & Customisation manager of any discrepancies.
  • Work within existing health and safety guidelines.
  • Maintain required standard level of housekeeping in all relevant areas at all times.
  • Attend regular reviews with the Warehouse & Customisation Manager to identify training requirements.
The successful candidate will have the following skills:
  • Previous experience in working/fault finding electro/mechanical equipment
  • Knowledge of electro/mechanical vending equipment
  • Fault finding vending equipment
  • Electrical Health & Safety /Manual handling & lifting
  • Good communicator
  • Ability to communicate with Internal Departments
  • Contribute within local customization team
  • A good level IT Competence
  • Basic PC use.
  • Planning & Organisation
  • Time management
  • Understand & work to equipment specifications and work instructions.
