Job Description

An Overhead Crane Operator / Steel Bander is required for a steel processing company based in the Kingswinford area of the West Midlands.This position is working on a temp to perm basis - with a permanent contract awarded after a probationary period proving you are a capable overhead crane operator.Duties include:

  • Operating an overhead crane to handle steel
  • Assisting with loading / offloading steel on slitting lines
  • Banding up processed steel
  • General material handling duties
