Job Description

Job Profile for Mechanical Design Engineer - RE191004Mechanical Design Engineer required. My client is a leading provider of bespoke casting equipment to the Aluminium industry. They specialise in providing solutions tailored to each clients bespoke specifications. They are looking to takeon a Mechanical Design Engineer who is looking to develop their career and skillset. The role would suit an Experienced Design Engineer with previous experience with castings or Forgings, you will need to be based locally to Kingswinford for this role.Mechanical Design Engineer Position Overview

  • Providing internal design consultancy to all Engineering departments
  • Production of Detailed design set outs for furnaces and associated equipment in Inventor / AutoCAD
  • Creating Design calculations in Excel and Mathcad
  • Production Sequence of Operations including all sensing / actuation devise operations
  • Creating Bills of Materials
  • Visiting Clients for inspections and discussions
  • Producing costings for complete designs
  • Working in line with established IT and Quality systems
Mechanical Design Engineer Position Requirements
  • Previous experience in a Mechanical Design role is essential
  • Previous experience with Castings, Forgings or Combustion highly desirable
  • Highly proficient in the use of Inventor / AutoCAD
  • Proficient with Microsoft Suite
  • Experienced with creating Bills of materials and producing Costings
  • Based locally to Kingswinford
  • Full UK Driving licence
Mechanical Design Engineer Position Remuneration
  • Salary £35,000 - £50,000 DOE
  • 8:00 - 16:30 Monday - Thursday, 8:00 - 13:00 Friday
  • 28 days holiday
  • Private Medical cover
  • Pension
