Job Description

eCommerce Manager/Digital Marketer| Kingswinford | 9:00am5:00pm (flexible by 1hr either way)| Market competitive salary (determined relative to experience)OCL Kingswinford Ltd is a long-established, sizable independent building materials and tools merchant based in Kingswinford, West Midlands. Historically our business model had centred around face-to-face selling and in-store retailing but over the last 5years, we have focused intently on progressing in the eCommerce space.We have now arrived at a point where our current in-house capabilities/resources have been maximised and in turn, we are looking for an individual with the skills and vision to progress our eCommerce endeavour to the next level.You will have the freedom to direct the progress of this online division of the business and the growth of its future team. This is a very exciting opportunity for the right candidate.Are you the right person for us

  • Strong understanding of current online marketing concepts, strategies and best practice
  • Experience in eCommerce, SEO, PPC, Email marketing, and social media
  • A good understanding of eBay and Amazon marketplaces
  • A solid understanding of Excel and an ability to run functions to manage large product and customer datasets
  • Previous experience in a similar eCommerce management / digital marketing role
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • An eye for digital image editing
  • An enjoyment of their profession and a desire to join a close-knit, collaborative team, to help develop a highly respected and trusted online merchant brand
What will your role as a eCommerce Manager/Digital Marketer look like
  • Overseeing the day-to-day running of the companies online activities
  • Devising strategies to drive online website traffic and increased revenue
  • Tracking and evaluating website user data (conversion rates, user journeys etc) to inform improvements and optimisations
  • Developing and managing digital marketing campaigns; utilising paid / unpaid advertising software and techniques (Google shopping, paid Search, email marketing, social media marketing etc)
  • Building and optimising listings across marketplaces (eBay, Amazon, ManoMano etc)
  • Populating, reviewing, and updating website content
  • Undertaking of market research to identify and develop opportunities for sales growth including range development, bestsellers and category performance
  • Managing and manipulating bulk datasets
